This is one of many old posters dated in 1913 that was still hanging in the Grange building in Cheshire. This building once held dances, plays and many other events in it's day.

The below video is an amateur film taken by visitors to Watkins Glen State Park in 1930. A really interesting video to watch if you are familiar with the gorge at Watkins Glen or can appreciate a window into the lives of these young visitors from nearly 80 years ago.

The Frontenac steamboat was the oldest and largest craft on Cayuga Lake in the late 1800's. The side-wheel steamer was built in 1860 at a cost of $50,000. It was in continuous service until Saturday, July 27, 1907... more »

Incredible photos and scans from the archives at the Sampson Museum and depict life and activity at the Sampson Naval Base during World War II are available here.
