Last Leg: Chicago, IL to NY

What a city! Chicago was everything I hoped: big, fast, and fun. It is absolutely enormous and it gave me a taste for what we're in for in Houston. I'd forgotten how big a big city really was...
I've mapped out the last of our photos from the trip. Our total miles traveled, from Fairbanks driveway to Seneca Falls driveway, totalled 5847.2! Josh and I had the most spectacular pre-honeymoon EVER! We are two of the most fortunate people in the world, and we've truly enjoyed every minute of it. We enjoyed blogging and mapping it, too, and the response since we got home made us feel great. So many of you have checked in to keep track of us! It was hard work but a terrific project. FL1/Snowcones Interactive map and Flickr have been updated. Normal blog posting to resume shortly!
Also, please note that I've added Dave Bernacchi's blog link to my sidebar (read about my night with Dave here), so check in occasionally to see his wonderful photographs. Also, I'm working at Red's again! Tending bar on Wednesday nights, so please stop in and say hello if you're so inclined. If you ask nicely, I'll make you a Duck Fart.
