We would like to congratulate "HENRY" on his recent certification as THERAPY DOG from THERAPY DOG INTERNATIONAL.

Henry, one of our fosters, was adopted several years ago by Stephanie. This young woman has put her all into this wonderful dog! First she taught him basic manners. Then she taught him obedience commands. Then she progressed on to agility and other activities.

Most of all, she LOVED HIM.

Henry originally came to us from Lollipop Farm in Fairport, NY. They wanted to give Henry a extra chance at adoption and knew we would take the time needed to find Henry a wonderful, appropriate home. Thank you Lollipop! for giving us the chance to help him!

Henry was a small puppy that was found during a drug bust in Rochester with his ears recently chopped of with scissors. We had Henry here with us for many months before he and Stephanie found each other.

On Sunday, October 18th, 2009 Henry passed his testing to become a THERAPY DOG. We are so proud of Stephanie and Henry.

Here's a pic of Henry with a junior Boy Scout handler volunteer at our training class. Henry and Stephanie assisted us with the class showing our dogs and people in training what was expected of them as the end result!
