Visit Cape Vincent

Cape Vincent is becoming a place where people like to live, enjoy life, and spend vacation time. The most effective route to Cape Vincent is too take Route 81 to Exit 46. From the shore lines you can enjoy watching ships from all over the world pass by through the clean blue waters of the St. Lawrence River as well as Lake Ontario. This is a distinct community because it has a ferry that transports passengers as well as automobiles to and from Canada.Photo taken by Andrew Tiesi on March 30, 2007 @ 4:47 PMWhat to do:Cape Vincent Recreation Park - 602 South James StHorne Transportation (Ferry)- End Of James Street-websiteN.Y.
I am a bunny owner, are you?

I admit it, yes I do own a bunny. The wife and I a few years back decidedthat we wanted to have a pet. We took a journey to the PetSmartin beautiful Ithaca, NY. After looking around at the puppies (way to expensive) and cats (wife is allergic) we came upon an agreement to buy a bunny. Aferter taking a gander at the bunnies, we had made our decision. We chose the only female out of the bunch. So after browsing around the store we found a cage, some toys, treats, food, and other miscellaneous items. We went through the checkout line and escaped with just spend under $60.After arriving home my wife had already picked out the perfect name for our bunny and that was "Lola".Her name was Lola, she was a showgirlWith yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to thereShe would merengue and do the cha-chaAnd while she tried to be a star,Tony always tended barAcross the crowded floor, they worked from 8 til 4They were young and they had each otherWho could ask for more?(from Barry Manilows "Copacabana")So now about 2 and 1/2 years later and we still think she is a riot. We let her run wild in the kitchen. It's just so funny to watch her run around in circles and jump in the air. Did I forget to mention that she loves socks? Yes I said socks!!! She will chase a sock all over the place and try to chew it. DidI forget to tell you that bunnies are very low maintance andveryeasy to care for. I was just curious to see if there any other bunny owners out there?Well I think that's it for now..........signing off ~Andrew~Useful Links:House RabbitsPrecious Pet RabbitsHow to Carefor Pet Rabbits

Polar Dippers, Snowkiting, and more...

Polar Dippers are crazy people, just extremely crazy people. Why wouldyou want to jump into a river or lake in the dead of winter? Personally the BRRRRRRR factor would get to me. I dont ever see myself ever doing that in years to come. For some people its a big rush and I guess that's why they do it. A "rush" to the emergency room wouldn't be so great. So today up in Gouverneur Ny the polar dippers were at it. About 300 people showed up to plunge into a tank of water in 15 degree weather. CRAZY!!!What is Snowkiting?Snow kiting is an outdoor winter sport that combines airfoil and kitesurfing techniques. You can either use a snowboard, telemark skis, and alpine skis to snowkite. Back in the days kites were made out of foil.> Click here for more information on snowkiting...> Watch a video of snowkiters in St. Lawrence County...Where to go Skiing in Northern NYDry Hill Ski Area - Watertown NYhttp://www.skidryhill.comSnow Ridge Ski Resort - Turin NYhttp://www.snowridge.com
