Max Power's Sports Stash

I haven't paid to much attention to the National Hockey League since the strike. I did notice that our Buffalo Sabres got off to a hot start to the season. Other than that, I didn't give a second thought to the action on this ice this winter... until I saw this:

Don't let anybody fool you into thinking that the NHL wants to eliminate ugly scenes like this from their sport. This fight was the top story on Sportscenter, the topic of the day on sports talk radio, and hey... the first post on my awesome new blog!

Unless it's the play-offs, hockey is boring. The only way for the struggling NHL to get some press is to have mass bedlam break loose. This fight had it all. Hot goalie-on-goalie action , coaches screaming at each other from the benches, crazed fans in attendance loving every minute of it, cats and dogs living together...
