Three Clips-Three Lists

posted by Aurora on Monday March 26th 4:56pm

I don't know about you, but I have ONE BIG list of stuff I have to get, henscratched as I think about it, and sometimes, it can be a very long list. Somethings I need NOW (coffee-lightbulbs) other stuff for my adventure out to grocery shop and errands. I seem to forever having to take down the whole list, stuff it in my purse, get the few things on there in the direction I am going.*then* the list gets lost, throw it away accidently with reciepts, it is in the car(or more like I am driving the wrong car that has the list in it) somewhere...and I have to remember what was on it.. Grrrrr.

EXCITING! Today, I went to the Dollar General, to get laundry detergent, and on the check out, they had refrigerator clips (the kind that are magnatized with a clip) for $.17 each. All different colors. Heck, for $.17  I will find something to do with them.

Just as the woman was bagging up my stuff I said " one for stuff I have to get at Walmart.hardware store ect. one for groceries, and one for____?" She just smiled at me. (there she goes, thinking I am just being a nut case for making things easy for me)

The grocery lists are pretty cheap, I get the $1 ones of 50 pages) attractive in designs for kitchens. I thought I would hang all three of them on the fridge labeled "Walmart stuff, Grocery Store Stuff, and Other"   This way, I can pull them all down, and zip through the stores with only one list, and be done with it. To re-write the list, is not what I like to have to do.

Perhaps some of you already do this-To me, I am liking the idea, of not having to remember to get birdseed,(Sauders=other list) boxers for my son,(Walmart) and chicken breasts,(where-ever the sale is) when there are so many odds and ends on the lists. I have to pull that whole list out, and read through it, until I find what I am in the store for-It makes me a bit crazy.

I am hoping too, that anyone feels free to add to these blogs tips and what works for them, in  sharing to keep us all just a bit less stressed in the fast paced world we live in.

Peace and Laughter
