Your stories needed

posted by myfingerlakesstory on Tuesday April 10th 7:43pm

Hi everyone,  I have lived in the Fingerlakes all my life and have seen a lot of unexplained things.  Even had my own little miracle --- if you can call a miracle little????

I have felt the presence of spirits and other neat and scary things like that.  I am going to be writing a book about them and other stories as well.

It will be about eerie, unexplained, ghosts, strange animal sightings and /or miracle events that have happened in the Finger Lakes area.  I have always found it interesting to talk with others that have had there own or the same events.

- I will also be researching history to see if the event could be document as a real occurrence and then tie that with the story.  I don't want to include real resent deaths for ghost sightings unless the person is writing about there immediate family because it could cause some harsh feelings or bring up emotions that may hurt.   I can make it anonymous in the book unless they would like there name to be included.  I will need there name for contact info if I need to ask any further questions.

And I would also like it to be 1st person (eye witness) story although if it has been passed down in the family I will look at it to see if will be acceptable especially if there are other simular stories.  And please no made up stories.  I want real events.   I will be taking stories at this address  myfingerlakesstory@yahoo.com   Some stories I working on --if you too have had any experience close to these I'd be very interested.  (I know it might sound crazy to read all of these, but I have talked to -or been the eye witness)   Sampson State park -- feeling of impending doom on Sulivans trail -- glowing red eyes in cemetary --half goat half man --Interlaken/Ovid  UFO --this was long ago --came over the CB's in different counties reported seeing bright lights overhead  -- Civil War soldiers in Lodi  --Angels                         Thanks for reading, Paula

I once saw a sheep with no ears.  Then a few years later I saw a strange airplane skywriting the words Elvis lives.  I have never seen a mangoat and I am sure that it is not possible but only for a few too many beers.  As far as the Civil war soldiers in Lodi, they are all dead and buried.  I am sure that a book is possible, and you may even find some local stories out there, but ghost and spirits are only alive in the minds of those who choose to believe it.

I understand why you would say that.....  but it's basically a matter of opinion what you believe or don't believe is up to the individual.  And once you have an experience of the paranormal there's no turnning back to believe or not too.  It's there .............
