Bells for Bedford Falls

Above:  The Bells of the Real Bedford Falls ring in honor of individuals who have made an impact on the lives of others.  Karolyn Grimes and friends hold the list of those for whom the bells were run in 2010.

Participate in the second annual Bells of the Real Bedford Falls.  On December 11 at 4:00 p.m., bells will ring throughout Seneca Falls in honor of family members and friends.  To learn how you can be a part of this event and have a bell rung for the angel in your life, click here. Proceeds help support the “It’s a Wonderful Life” Festival and The Seneca Falls It’s a Wonderful Life Museum.

I just received my certificate for the "Bell Ringing" yesterday.  My dad passed away June 11, 2011.  I had the Bells of he Real Bedford Falls rung for him.  I thought it was the perfect way to honor him during this first holiday season without him.  I never realized what an impact my dad made in other's lives until my mom received over 200 sympathy cards after he passed away.  "It's A Wonderful Life" is an excellent reminder of how one life touches so many and most of the time we don't even realize it.  Thank you for beginning this tradition, there could not have been a more perfect way to honor my dad.
